May 16, 2016 – Victor Sheppard has owned a Toyota Tundra for the past 9 years. Unlike most people, however, Sheppard has driven his truck for a whopping 1 million miles (1.6 million kilometers).
What’s more impressive is that fact that the Tundra still has its original engine, transmission and paint job thanks to regular servicing, with Sheppard bringing the truck to the dealership 117 times over the past 9 years.
After finding out about his impressive feat, Toyota decided to award Sheppard with a 2016 Tundra; in return, the company will take the million-mile Tundra in order to examine it and learn how to make its trucks as indestructible as this particular model.
