With NASCAR driver Carl Edwards behind the wheel, the Land Speed Cruiser reached a top speed of 370 km/h at the Mojave Air and Space Port to become the world’s fastest SUV, beating the previous record – set by a V12-powered Mercedes GLK – by 30 km/h.

The Land Speed Cruiser features a twin-turbocharged 5.7-liter V8 engine that produces more than 2000 horsepower and Toyota says that every single component in the SUV has been modified.
