May 29, 2015 – Toyota has taken the top spot as the world’s most valuable automative brand in the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands 2015 study.
With a brand value of USD 28.9 billion, Toyota remains the most appreciated automotive brand by consumers, beating Germany’s BMW and Mercedes-Benz which ranked 2nd and 3rd in the automotive category and were valued at $26.3 billion and $21.7 billion respectively.
Honda, Ford, Nissan, Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover and Lexus rounded out the top 10 respectively.
In the complete list, which includes brands from numerous industries, Toyota ranked 30th overall, with Apple taking the top spot ahead of Google and Microsoft.
