Toyota reveals 205bhp Yaris GRMN

March 8, 2017 – Toyota has revealed a hot version of the Yaris, dubbed Yaris GRMN, at the Geneva Motor Show this week. GRMN stands for “Gazoo Racing Masters of the Nürburgring”, in case you were wondering.

The sporty Yaris features a supercharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine good for 205 bhp (207 hp), which should help the little car sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and Torsen limited-slip differential.

Compared to the standard Yaris, the GRMN version has a more aggressive exterior with redesigned bumpers and a rear spoiler. Inside, it gets bucket seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel from the Toyota GT86.
