June 1, 2016 – Sporty hatchbacks have truly come a long way as today’s crop of hyper hatches deliver performance that supercars from previous eras struggle to match.
In this video, Cars.co.za gathered the new BMW M2, the latest Mercedes A45 AMG, the Audi RS3 Quattro and the Honda Civic Type-R for a proper head-to-head track race.
Aside other aspects, the race is a true test of drivetrains: rear-wheel drive (BMW) vs all-wheel drive (Mercedes and Audi) vs front-wheel drive (Honda).
