October 6, 2015 – Auto Express pits two of the most exciting and fun-to-drive sports cars currently on sale, the Toyota GT86 and Mazda MX-5, against one another to find out which one is the fastest around a race track.
Both are Japanese, both are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and both are driven by the rear wheels. However, the GT86 makes 200 hp, compared to the MX-5’s 155 hp. Then again, the Mazda is almost 180 kilograms lighter.
