Two dead in Ferrari F430 Scuderia accident

Supercars are awesome, they’re sleek, exclusive and extremely fast, but they lack one very important feature: Safety. Sure, they’re equipped with state-of-the-art airbags and safety aids, but these aren’t gonna save you in a 100 km/h accident, not even the safest car will.

Last Saturday, a heavy accident took place near Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps involving a Ferrari F430 Scuderia. Unfortunately, both the 63-year-old driver and 15-year-old passenger died during the accident.

The driver, identified as Jacques Devergnies, was most likely going extremely fast before he hit a lamp post and crashed into a highway divider which split the Italian car into half.
