July 6, 2016 – A Volkswagen Golf R managed to beat a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in this drag race. However, it’s not a standard Golf R as it hides a twin-turbo VR6 engine that produces 745 horsepower, 40 more than the Hellcat. It also benefits from all-wheel drive, compared to rear-wheel drive for the Dodge. In the video, the Dodge races a bunch of other cars, including a Chevrolet Corvette Z06, a Nissan GT-R and a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
