November 11, 2016 – Volkswagen has taken the wraps off the refreshed 2017 Golf before its official reveal at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.

Design-wise, it receives a subtle facelift that includes new LED headlights and taillights, redesigned front and rear bumpers, in addition to new wheels and new color options. Inside, it gets a new digital display behind the steering wheel and a new 9.2-inch screen in the center console.
The 2017 Golf features a new 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 148 horsepower and comes with Active Cylinder Management system, which shuts down two of the four cylinders for better fuel economy. Meanwhile, the 2017 Golf GTI receives a power boost and now produces 226 hp, or 241 hp if equipped with the Performance Pack.
A large array of tech features have been given to the new Golf, including Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Braking, Lane Assist, Blind Spot Sensor, Rear Traffic Alert, Park Assist and much more.
