Carlos Sainz, Sebastien Ogier and VW tester Dieter Depping drove the new Polo WRC for its first gravel test this week in Spain and all 3 drivers came out with very good impressions over the car’s performance.
Both Ogier and Depping have driven the car earlier in Norway and Sweden but the test came on different surfaces. Ogier and Sainz completed around 450 miles of rough running on this week’s test in Spain.
Carlos Sainz and Sebastien Ogier are combining their efforts in the VW Polo project and are looking forward to improve project and make the car ready for its debut according to team officials. The team will be looking to test the car more on Tarmac in the coming weeks in order to complete specifications task book.
