August 28, 2013 – When you have twisty Chinese mountain roads consisting of 99 corners, a Lexus SC, a Toyota Supra, and two Red Bull athletes, what do you get? Lots of wheelspin, smoke and engine noise. In other words: drifting.
Hong Kong’s James Tang and Italy’s Federico Sceriffo tackle the breathtaking Tianmenshan Mountain road in China on the aforementioned cars in a special drift challenge organized by Red Bull China earlier this month.
Sceriffo was ultimately crowned the ‘Drift King of Tianmenshan Mountain’ after scoring 96.5 out of 100, with a 170 km/h top speed. You can watch two videos from the event right below.
