May 6, 2016 – 13-time Grand Prix winner David Coulthard takes a Red Bull Racing Formula 1 car through some of Jordan’s most picturesque locations, including Wadi Rum, as part of the team’s Middle East showrun that has already visited Oman, before coming to Lebanon in a couple of weeks.
If the scenery looks familiar, that’s because Wadi Rum was used to depict planet Mars in the movie The Martian. Coulthard himself was enamored by the scenery, saying on the team radio: “Unbelievable scenery, this is, it’s like Mars.”
“To have had the chance to come and see the length and breadth of the country, it’s been a wonderful experience that I will cherish the memories, seeing one of the wonders of the World,” said Coulthard after his visit to Jordan.
