The 2013 Rally France was a truly spectacular and unforgettable event, not because it witnessed a four-way fight for the lead between some of the best drivers in the world, but because it hid many pleasant and unpleasant surprises, most notably is the crowning of Sebastien Ogier, who went on to win the event, as 2013 World Champion; this is his and Volkswagen’s first ever WRC drivers’ title. Rally France was also the last rally for nine-times World Champion Sebastien Loeb, but it turned out to be disappointing one as he rolled his Citroen DS3 on the final day.
