Williams reveals its 2016 Formula 1 racecar

February 19, 2016 – Williams took everyone by surprise today as it revealed the first images of its 2016 Formula 1 racecar, the FW38, on social media.

The Mercedes-powered FW38, which appears to be an evolution of the FW37, will run for the first time during the first pre-season test in Barcelona next week. However, “the car we are launching today is by no means the final product”, said Deputy team principal Claire Williams.

Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa, who helped the team finish 3rd in the constructors’ championship in 2015, have both been retained by the team.
