August 20, 2016 – Rally Germany has been halted after PH Sport Citroen crew Stephane Lefebvre and co-driver Gabin Moreau were injured in a heavy crash in SS10.

The pair were running sixth overall but crashed in the first quarter of the Panzerplatte stage, which was stopped as a result; medical crews were sent to the scene of the accident.
Sebastien Ogier leads the rally, 13.2 seconds ahead of Volkswagen teammate Andreas Mikkelsen, who lost the lead after having an off moment. The two Volkswagens are followed by the two Hyundais of Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo.
