The 9th round of the 2012 World Rally Championship in Germany has gotten off to a good start for Eight-time world champion Sebastien Loeb who went fastest on Thursday’s shakedown.

In dry conditions, the Frenchman set a time of 2:25.2s, 0.8 seconds faster than second-placed Jari-Matti Latvala, through the 4.55-kilometer stage around the village of Kommligen.
