The 2013 World Rally Championship has been an exciting journey so far, despite being a bit one-sided. Of course, by one-sided we mean Sebastien Ogier and Volkswagen’s surprising dominance during their very first year in the championship. Sebastien’s won 5 out of 8 rallies so far, so that’s more than a 50% winning rate, and he’s on his way to secure his first title with 181 points up to Rally Finland, 90 points ahead of second-placed team-mate Jari Matti Latvala. Ogier and Volkswagen aren’t the only surprise though, as we’re seeing some superb drives from M-Sport driver Thierry Neuville who’s been on the podium on four occasions this season; he’s also tied with Latvala in the championship. With five more rounds to go, check out all the highlights from the first eight rounds in the 7-minute footage below.
