Bentley has introduced a redesigned Winged B badge, only the fifth version in its 106-year history. The updated emblem will debut on an upcoming concept car, which previews Bentley’s next design chapter.
This new badge is described as the most significant update to the iconic symbol in over a century. Alongside legendary icons like the Spirit of Ecstasy and the Prancing Horse, Bentley’s flying B remains one of the most recognizable automotive emblems in the world.
The fresh design was chosen through an internal competition and was created by Bentley interior designer Young Nam. It features sharper lines and a more dramatic form, inspired by high-end luxury watch details such as beveled glass edges and metallic surrounds.
Though it may seem like a small change, it marks a bold step forward. The original badge dates back to 1919, designed by artist F. Gordon Crosby. It evolved in 1931 after Bentley’s acquisition by Rolls-Royce and again in 1996 and 2002, following the brand’s move under Volkswagen.
The new Winged B, along with the concept car set to be revealed on 8 July, represents Bentley’s commitment to innovation while honoring its handcrafted legacy and iconic brand heritage.
