Ferrari Amalfi Replaces Roma With Buttons and Style

Ferrari has unveiled the Amalfi, a new entry-level model that replaces the Roma. Named after Italy’s scenic Amalfi Coast, this sleek grand tourer brings welcome changes, including a return to physical buttons inside the cabin.

Under the hood, the Amalfi retains Ferrari’s 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8, now producing 631bhp. It accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200mph. While it keeps the same rear-wheel-drive setup and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, Ferrari has revised components for a more responsive drive.

Unlike rivals chasing extreme power, the Amalfi focuses on refinement and balance. Modes like Wet and Comfort are now more forgiving, while Sport and Race have been enhanced for serious performance. Sixth-generation Side Slip Control ensures added stability.

Design-wise, the body is all-new except for the glass. It features a three-stage active rear wing, aerodynamic headlights, and a fresh front inspired by the Purosangue. The interior has been completely redesigned with a wider layout, improved screens, and the welcome return of a physical start button.

With elegant lines, smart aerodynamics, and a user-friendly cabin, the Amalfi sets a new standard for modern Ferrari touring cars. First deliveries are expected in early 2026.
