Hyundai Concept Three Previews Bold Ioniq 3 Electric Hatch

Hyundai has unveiled its exciting Concept Three, which previews the upcoming Ioniq 3 electric hatchback, designed for the European market. While it’s not confirmed for the U.S. yet, there’s hope that this stylish, bold EV will make its way across the ocean. The Concept Three is a hatchback with a sporty and compact design, measuring 168.7 inches long, 76.4 inches wide, and 56.2 inches tall. Its size places it in the same category as a Toyota GR Corolla, though with a slightly shorter overall length, a wider body, and a lower roofline. The wheelbase is 107.2 inches, longer than the Toyota’s, promising more interior space.

The exterior features a mix of Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 sharp-edged, futuristic design and the Genesis GV60’s rounded, muscular look. The body is painted in a matte Tungsten Gray, and the interior is decorated in gray, silver, and Moonbeam Yellow accents. The “IONIQ” logo on the liftgate clearly marks this as part of Hyundai’s electric family. The rear doors are concept-style with no B-pillar, though the production model will likely have four traditional doors.

Inside, the futuristic design continues, with grooved textures and X-shaped accents on the headrests. The car also features dynamic cube-shaped screens that display various messages, lights, and symbols, giving it a sci-fi feel. The seats are labeled “Thrillseeker” and “Troublemaker” to emphasize the car’s performance spirit. Baseball stitching on the interior adds a touch of luxury.

The Ioniq 3 will likely feature a 225-hp motor and a 63-kWh battery, potentially offering a range of 275 miles. Enthusiasts are eager to see if an Ioniq 3 N model with even more power will be on the horizon.
