Lamborghini has unveiled the all-new Temerario GT3, a non-hybrid V8-powered race car developed entirely in-house at the Sant’Agata facility. It marks a new chapter in Lamborghini’s motorsport journey, built specifically for GT3 competition.
The Temerario GT3 shares its core with the road-going version, including a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 designed from the start with racing in mind. Since GT3 rules don’t allow hybrid systems, the powertrain has been reworked with smaller turbos, a redesigned airbox, and a reduced output tuned for racing balance. It revs up to 10,000 rpm, with a broader powerband and a custom exhaust from Capristo.
Track-focused features include KW suspension, 18-inch Ronal AG wheels, a new hydraulic steering rack, improved electronics, updated software, racing switchgear, and a new steering wheel shaped by feedback from professional drivers.
The carbon composite body reduces weight while enhancing aerodynamics, including a huge rear wing, quick-release panels, and an optimized fuel system. Single-piece front and rear sections make for easier pit stops, while the four-part floor and reinforced roll cage reflect its racing purpose.
Following the success of the Huracán GT3, Lamborghini expects the Temerario GT3 to deliver strong performance and driver comfort in all race conditions.
