New Volkswagen T-Roc Debuts With Updated Features

Volkswagen has unveiled the second-generation T-Roc, keeping its familiar design while adding modern upgrades. Despite looking similar to the previous version, this refreshed model includes key improvements like a new front end, LED lighting, an optional light-up logo, and a bold rear lightbar.

Launched recently in Germany, the new T-Roc builds on the success of its predecessor, which remained one of Europe’s top-selling vehicles well into 2025. Volkswagen has clearly chosen to evolve rather than reinvent.

The new T-Roc is now 12cm longer, offering more rear legroom. Volkswagen claims that even tall passengers will be comfortable in both the front and rear seats. Boot space has increased to 475 liters, and for the first time, massage seats and a head-up display are available as optional features.

Inside, the materials have been upgraded, and new tech like the improved Travel Assist system offers smoother lane changes and better responsiveness to speed limits.

At launch, a 1.5-litre eTSI mild hybrid engine is offered in two power levels: 114bhp and 148bhp, both with front-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Two full hybrid options and a high-performance T-Roc R are planned for future release.
