Mercedes AMG Teases V8 GT Track Focused Supercar

Mercedes-AMG has revealed an early look at its upcoming high-performance machine, the Concept AMG GT Track Sport. Designed with serious circuit capabilities in mind, this new model signals AMG’s intent to expand its GT lineup with a more aggressive, track-focused version powered by a V8 engine.

Though still under wraps, the teaser images hint at key performance elements, including a massive rear wing and a bold front splitter and diffuser. These features suggest a vehicle built for maximum aerodynamic efficiency and high-speed cornering. AMG describes it as an “uncompromising concept” aimed at delivering peak driving dynamics and potentially setting new lap records.

While exact performance details remain unknown, the name and design clearly point to a machine engineered for the racetrack. Speculation already surrounds whether Mercedes-AMG is targeting lap times at iconic circuits like the Nürburgring.

Currently in the final stages of development, the Concept GT Track Sport will soon begin testing. It could preview a new production model within the GT series, offering even more power and performance than current versions. With its dramatic styling and racing DNA, this concept represents the next step in AMG’s pursuit of extreme performance for serious driving enthusiasts.
